Finding Australian Government spatial data
OSDM manages a list of Australian Government spatial datasets that are available under the terms of the Policy on Spatial Data Access and Pricing. This list is known as the Schedule. OSDM also manages a supplementary list of spatial datasets, for those datasets available under broadly similar terms to Schedule datasets. This list is known as the Auxiliary List. The Australian Spatial Data Directory (ASDD) provides a search interface to discover geospatial dataset descriptions (metadata) throughout Australia. A dataset description is a structured document which consistently explains a certain set of geospatial (earth-related) data, and provides links to further information and possibly to the actual data
